Neil Diamond: A Native Son

According to The Brooklyn Daily Eagle, superstar singer/ songwriter Neil Diamond was born 66 years ago yesterday, right here in Coney Island.

The Eagle article mentions that Diamond attended Erasmus Hall High School in Flatbush at the same time as Barbra Streisand. But according to
his Wikipedia entry, Neil also attended Coney's Lincoln High for a while.

Happy Birthday Neil!

As a Sheepshead Bay resident who lives and breathes Neil - who, if you ask me, owes it to his roots, and his devoted fanbase to play at Asser Levy Seaside Park this summer - the Wikipedia entry also noted that he was born in 1941, thus making him 67 years young.

Although, I am horrid when it comes to math, so I could be wrong myself.
