The circus is always in town when the town is Coney Island, they're all here! real! and clownin'! on the inside for you! The cast is known for sword swallowing, fire eating, snake charming, big busty bumps and grinds, being electrocuted on stage and you'll see all that and more!

Not in over 2 years has New York seen a show like this, because that's when Dottie Lux, Clown Burlesque Babe, left her beloved rotten apple for San Francisco, the land of avocados and marijuana and took "Clowns of Coney Island" with her. You have all but rarely seen her big bouncing balloons or shiny red nose since then and it is her esteemed honor to bring back to you the downtown clowns you have come to know and love, but you rarely if ever see them like this: a little more silly a little more filthy and entirely CLOWNED!

It Will Be The Largest Dinner Party In The World And It's Going to Be At Coney Island

20,000 people will be expected to this grand event organized by Paramount Pictures.  To promote the new motion picture by Steve Carrell, entitled: DINNER WITH SCHMUCKS.  The film company hopes to break the world record for the largest dinner party previously held by Alpha Kappa Alpha Society in 2008 who had 16,206 members.  This grand event will take place from the beach from the Aquarium and along the well known businesses on the boardwalk.

The event is in need of volunteers.  Please The major networks will be there, as well as the movie's cast which also stars Paul Rudd. 

There will be a meeting tomorrow for business owners and stakeholders only.  They will go over details of the event.

The dinner party will start at 5pm which will include three courses served by waiters.  dessert is at 6:30 pm where the cast will appear.  At 7pm Guinness  Book of World Record judges will make announcement if the record has been won.

Coney Island’s talent & entertainment history runs deep. Since the late 1800’s, live music, sideshows and burlesque shows have peppered the boardwalk to the midway, and enchanted the masses.

It is the perfect, magical & mystical place for a talent show.

Join Hostess Miss Saturn , The World Famous *BOB*and the fanfare of legendary talent that has come out of Coney Island, by being a part of the first ever Coney Island Talent Show on the boardwalk (between 10^th & 12^th street) on  July 31^st from 4pm-8pm.

We are currently holding an Open Casting Call for all performers to participate in this historic event.

Categories for this year’s talent contest are:

-Best Drag Performance or Celebrity Impersonator

-Circus Freaks and Sideshow Geeks (including all variety, novelty acts)

-Dance your Pants Off (including soloists, troupes & step teams)

 -Creative Kids, 9-12years

-& Sassy Seniors, 60 and up

The sub category in each level is Best Costume, so be sure and dress with pizzazz to this Coney Island affair! 

Singing is encouraged for all categories!

CASH PRIZE$ & MORE FUN STUFF!

1^st prize in each category will receive a cash prize of $200,  a season pass to participating Coney Island Amusements and an opportunity to perform live before a Brooklyn Cyclone’s Baseball Game, The 22^nd Tattoo & Motorcycle Festival, or The 8^th Annual New York Burlesque Festival

2^nd prize in each category will receive a cash prize of $50, and day passes to participating Coney Island Amusements.

3^rd prize in each category will receive day passes to participating Coney Island Amusements.

The Best Dressed person in each category will receive a special mystery prize.
