Coney Vid: "Little Fugitive" 2006 Remake Trailer

Though this remake of the critically aclaimed orginal 1953 black and white film "The Little Fugitive" by Ruth Orkin and Morris Engel - this Joanna Lipper's 2006 remake was made in Coney Island it was not submitted and/or presented at the Coney Island Film Festival. The original version was nominated for an academy award for best writing. The remake did not make much noise.

Directed by Joanna Lipper. A powerful tale about the bond between two young brothers, Little Fugitive, a re-imagining of Morris Engel's beloved 1953 classic, will be available on DVD for the first time in September 2008 from Cinema Libre Studio. Set in present-day Brooklyn, Little Fugitive tells the story of brothers Joey and Lenny who, like most siblings, wishes the other would disappear forever. One day, both boys are forced to discover what it might really feel like if this wish came true. (Directed by Joanna Lipper)
