Coney Openings: Be A Star By The Shore At New Karaoke Lounge

Late last night sign installers were hooking up a new canopy sign for a new lounge opening up soon at the new building at 1205 Surf Avenue directly across from the Coney Island Museum and Sideshow. What will seem to be a bar and lounge Stars By The Shore will be showcasing Karaoke. The sign sat on the floor before being installed above the store's entrance. Also posted, on the closed gate, is a help wanted sign which reads:
3 waitress positions available. Must be friendly & outgoing. Call (646) 525-6634 or (718) 404-4462 or see us around the corner on the 3rd floor at 1205 Surf Avenue.
Hopefully this is the beginning of many new places springing up at Coney Island. The Coney Island Surf & Turf Restaurant has been bustling with business for the most part since it opened. And it comes highly recommended by reviews in the New York Magazine.

Let's hope some more entertainment venues start up as well.

These people need to go out of business for what they are doing. This might be a new beginning for Coney Island but it should not be a new beginning for them. These people hire underage people is an outrage and they will probably keep on doing it. This will only get worse. The interviews they give are inappropriate and they should go out of business ASAP.

so it doesnt matter that the girls are underage seriously if u were or are a parent you would be disgusted what all the girls did to get that job dont get me wrong it was their choice to subject themselves to that and lower themselves to those standards but those owners shouldnt take advantage of their idiotic ways of thinking and if you are a parent would you want your underage daughter working there where the owners are giving them alchohol and yeah the only reason why the cops arent doing anything is because they have connections thats all they even said that

Well this place has reopened as a live music venue and the grand opening was a bust. They hired a band and did not promote the "grand reopening" expecting that the band would bring people. Then they charged these people $20 a head to get in! Then after setting up and having been hired for $400 they sent us home early with $200. And they charged us $10 a drink! These people are shady low lifes! The places is a 20ftx20ft hole in the wall with exposed ceilings with what looks like asbestos. I suggest you avoid this place at all costs!! Real LOSERS!

Someone should shut this place down. Its run by real idiots and not worth your time or money. Places and people like this really make the case for the planned reconstruction of Coney Island. STAY AWAY!!!!
