As the Thor Equities 'Summer of Hope' finally runs on empty, two lonely tickets booths remain on the Thor lot. In the last few days and weeks the rides and attractions that made up the 'Summer of Hope' and for a little while changed the Coney Island skyline are now a memory. Despite the general feeling around Coney this summer that business is down, these rides were meant to be here for a short stint.
Now, upon seeing the empty dirt lot once again, we hope Thor Equities at least lay down some asphalt on that filthy ground for their next temporary come-and-go, every-where-else carnival attraction(s).
