According to the organizers of "Flea By The Sea" (or shall we say Thor Equities) Brooklyn, this spring and summer, is going to be a lot more exciting. They are looking to bring to Coney Island and exciting and entertaining flea market. They've already started looking for specialty acts. As found on Craigslist by Coney Island USA board poster, Adam.Presumably, it's much cheaper to bring in a flea market (which is what some amusement enthusiasts wanted out in Coney Island a decade ago), instead of traveling carnival rides.

The ad further says they need the people only on weekends and maybe Friday. While the CIDC started this whole mess saying they wanted year round businesses in Coney, Sitt cant even give us 7 days a week in the summer.
