It will be certain that any new tourist destination or any revitalized Coney Island will need a super fast express route from Manhattan to Coney. Here it sure seems as though the express N Trains are gearing up for such a reality. We wish so!

The Coney Island Express train did exist and used the express tracks on the Sea Beach (N) Line. However, the Brooklyn bound tracks have been pulled up. With the MTA crying poverty, it is highly unlikely anytime soon they will relay the tracks again. But it is possible since the right of way will always exist.
