Goodbye Deno's Thunderbolt

Looks like the popular Thunderbolt ride at Deno's Wonder Wheel Amusement Park is sold, packed and ready to be shipped off. The two images below, by Coney Island USA message board poster, Capt_Nemo who keeps a good eye on what pops up in Coney Island, shows the Thunderbolt dismantled and compressed. There is no knowledge at this point why Deno's decided to sell their one of their most popular rides before the season has closed.

Denos is not in danger of closing anytime soon. Everything but the Thunderbolt and the ride drop thing was open and operating this past weekend.
