Astroland's 2008 Lease Offer Showing Great Promise!

The inside scoop direct from office co-workers of Carol Albert, owner and operator of Astroland is highly promising. And an agreed lease for 2008 will probably be signed and delivered in the next few days. But until the signature is on the dotted line, Albert will not begin celebrating. The talks between Carol Albert and Thor Equities is said to be going positively. And it looks like there is a a good 90% that Astroland will be back for the next season of 2008.

If Thor Equities is trying again to look like the good guy - expect a press release from them to hit the major New York newspapers very shorty.

Great, possibly another season of a crappy, worn-out and run down amusement park. As it stands now, ALL of the Coney Island amusement district is a complete disaster. With the exception of the Cyclone and Wonder Wheel everything needs to be leveled. Until all the land from the baseball park to the Cyclone is under the control of ONE AND ONLY ONE entity NOTHING GOOD WILL EVER be built. I don't know why there is any reason to save Astroland. It should have been put out of its misery long ago. -AL
