New CIDC Board Member

Wednesday's Brooklyn Eagle announced that:

Chamber of Commerce President Carl Hum has been named to the Coney Island Development Corporation (CIDC) Board of Directors.

It's not clear what effect-if any- Hum's appointment to the 13 member board will have on the actions of the CIDC, a government formed entity charged with planning the economic development of Coney Island. Nonetheless, it's always a good idea to keep an eye on who's involved in making decisions that effect the community.
