B & B Carousel Storefront And Old Sign Reworked For A New Biz

Coney's roving inspector Capt_Nemo caught the old B & B Carousel building and front signage being re-plasted and repainted for a new business coming in. Capt_Nemo writes in the Coney Island USA message board:

...the original sign on the building was metal nailed into the brick. The sign had to remain when the carousell was removed because it was part of the building now, and could not be removed without damaging the brick work.

So was the sign finally removed and the people repairing the brick before being painted again?
