The new and 2nd McDonald's in the immediate Coney Island area will turn out to be an upscale McDonald's called 'McCafe', according to a worker at the site.
A franchise is still a franchise and something Coney Island could do without anymore. But, unfortunately for the summer season masses that go to Coney and the locals on a daily basis will cater mostly to what they know.
