The Brooklyn Ink is a biweekly news site covering life, business and politics in New York City’s most populous borough. With up to date accounts of current events in Brooklyn, our aim is to make the news interesting again by presenting real stories rather than the dry, boiled-down articles of yesteryear. By taking advantage of short and long form writing, blogs, interactive graphics, video, photo and audio slideshows, we cover the borough’s many culturally diverse neighborhoods, from DUMBO to Canarsie, Clinton Hill to Brownsville, better than any other media website.
Daniele Pinto was a news assistant for The New York Times bureau in Rome, Italy, where he previously worked as an assistant producer with Associated Press Television News and as an intern to The Associated Press before that.
