There was another good Coney Island article from the Brooklyn Daily Eagle this past week, this time on the cleanup of Coney Island Creek. Apparently some Brooklyn College students were inspired by Charles Denson's recent Coney Island Creek photo exhibit at their school, and organized a clean up of bottles and debris in the creek. In addition to the direct benefit of temporarily cleaning up the creek, the action was intended to bring attention to a proposed new recycling bill being currently discussed in Albany.
