Coney Island USA Building Refacing Begins

The recently acquired building of the Coney Island USA building has already begun exterior renovation for its expansion and is expected to be completed by the coming summer season.

Dick Zigun writes in the CIUSA board:

We are only renovating front of the building with an expanded Freak Bar, expanded giftshop and new Museum entrance. Freakshow itself including stage and seats will not be renovated for another year or two.

Also toilets on both floors already renovated.

Today we began to take the plywood off the front of the building where it has been hiding old arched window openings... we discovered some wonderful mosaic tile work between the arches!
