A classic Astroland commercial from 1980 has been posted on You Tube, while footage of Monday night's community information session has been posted on the NY1 News website.The city's vibrant, rave like artist renderings of the new Coney Island amusement area of 2008 (well, 2012, by the city's current estimation) certainly provide a stark contrast to the 'New Astroland' of 1980. The Astroland commercial, however, reflects a reality. We'll have to wait and see if the city's colorful renderings do as well, or if they just reflect a dream.
