It is sad to see how bare and empty Astroland is looking. Even the signs are being removed. The site will surely be cleared before the summer season. Thor Equities has promised that it will be filled with amusements galore for the season of 2009. If not, then much can be said about their real intentions for Coney Island. For the people who come to Coney Island for the amusments, let's hope that Thor Equities' 'Summer of Hope 09' doesn't become another summer of short fizzle.
