Palimpsest presents a visual dialogue by examining the current condition of Coney Island and the imagery that has made it an iconic site. The film presents a series of fleeting perambulations in juxtaposition with an ever-shifting centralized mise en scène. As the title suggests, Palimpsest brings to question the traces of historical elements that are culturally indelible to Coney Island in the face of its inevitable dissolution.
