Astroland Rocket Takes Off From Coney Island

Witnessed by Coney's roving eye, Capt_Nemo, the Astroland rocket has been removed from atop the Gregory & Paul's food concession and shipped off to (at this time) an unknown world.

Electricia who posts on the Coney Island message board says that the rocket was moved for now because the huge crane was already at the site. She also stated that an official announcement will be made shortly as to the new home for the rocket. Word also has it that, Charles Denson, directory of the Coney Island History Project, has previously stated that are 'serious negotiations' with a group that will move the rocket to a new Coney location somewhere else in Coney Island.
